"I have owned a few Beemers over the years and have dealt with quite a few dealerships. In my opinion, BMWNA should use Mathias BMW as "THE" example of how a dealership should be run. I purchased my 2011 R1200GS from Gene and was very happy with the price of the bike. When I recently returned for my first service I couldn't have been happier. Jamie is an outstanding asset to their tech dept.and is very helpful. Though I do have a dealership about 20 mins away I have no problem riding over to Mathias for a purchase or service work. An outstanding dealership with outstanding people. Thanks, guys, you are The BEST!”
Gene and Jamie you guys are the best. Bert and I could not thank you enough for all the time and patience you have had with us with our 1999 LT and for the call about the 2007LT. Watching Bert ride it home was a good feeling to know how much he likes this bike. Thank you so much, Gene, for everything. And Jamie if he puts wood screws in this one I will make him cry (promise).
I've dealt with Gene for well over 12 years, and have had nothing but good experiences with his shop. Personally, Gene is a wealth of BMW information, which he's willing to share, and the guys in service (Jamie & Eric) are top-notch. I'm just one of Gene's many customers who ride 50, 75 and 100 miles to and from his shop for parts and service (and sometimes to simply talk BMW talk with the staff and other riders who stop by). He and the others at Mathias BMW have helped make the BMW experience in particular, and motorcycling in general, the wonderful hobby is has been for me.
Mathias has the best service and warranty work bar none. They either have the parts or can get them within a few days. If you have a warranty issue they will handle it on your behalf. Simply the best sales, service and customer service around.
I've been a service customer since my first '88 BMW, and a motorcycle customer since my '01 GS. All of my services are done here, from oil changes on up. Like some others, there are two dealers much closer to my home, but the 74 miles is never an issue. In over 18 years of service work, I've never had one bit of rework. That includes two accident rebuild/repairs at Mathias. Both times, they came in below estimate. I've slowed down on recommending Mathias service to other riders since it was getting harder for ME to get a summer appointment. I've never been offered better prices on tires and service. I've never had a complaint. Mathias customers are pretty nice, too.
Mathias BMW is the only dealership I go to for service. They stand behind their work. These guys have been top notch for years and years. Thanks, Gene!
This is a place, that I can be me and no one even minds. I can say I have not ever felt like I was an outsider, or not welcome. I always enjoy going there, and have been for the past 36years. Gene has always done whatever it takes to help me keep on riding, or racing when I was in teens. THANK YOU, GENE!!
Gene and company have repaired my crashes (more than one) professionally each time. I have never felt cheated nor have I felt like an outsider. Took a cross-country trip summer 2008, stopped for service in Arizona and found I had a real seal leak. Price 2300.00 and two days. Called Jamie, advised problem, assured me I could complete the trip. Came back and the service was completed for less than half. Great group, honest, and friendly.
